American Spaces in the Philippines joined the Live Video Webchat on Islam in America

On July 24, 2013, the Thomas Jefferson Information Center, together with the American Corners in the Philippines, took part in the “Islam in America” live video webchat at the Thomas Jefferson Information Center. The hour-long webchat introduced Imam Khalid Latif from New York City. Imam Latif, the first Muslim chaplain at New York University (NYU), shared his deeply committed community service experiences of what it means to be Muslim in a modern, multicultural world.
