Chiang Kai Shek faculty visits TJIC




On May 30, 2014, Six English language teachers from Chiang kai Shek School visited TJIC to learn more about English language resources suited for elementary students. The teachers were amazed on the eLibraryUSA database http://elibraryusa.state.gov/American English at State resources and various open access databases available in the Internet. TJIC visited various American Shelves in Pampanga




As part of the regionwide American Shelves Roadshow, the Thomas Jefferson Information Center visited two American Shelves in Pampanga : Angeles University Foundation and Pampanga Provincial Library. TJIC introduced newest services including eLibraryUSA resources and studying in the United States program. In addition, TJIC also promoted June activities such as the World Press Freedom Month to the participants by bringing books, posters and videos related to press freedom awareness. #diplomacymoments #elibraryusa#americanshelves #worldpressfreedom
