TJIC Collaboration with ASLP

Eight officers of the Association of Special Libraries in the Philippines (ASLP) visited the Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC) on June 14 to discuss possible collaborations between TJIC and ASLP.

TJIC Deputy Director Princess Grace Wooden reviewed the current programs and services of the TJIC while ASLP President Joseph Yap presented their respective library projects for this year. After the presentations, the group engaged in a roundtable discussion to further discuss future library projects.

North Luzon Library Directors Visit TJIC

Ten delegates from the Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae Consortium headed by library directors from different schools and universities in Northern Luzon visited the Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC) on June 5, 2013 to discuss about the services and programs offered by TJIC. They discussed new trends on social media and conducted a hands-on activity on elibraryUSA databases. TJIC also distributed some library materials that can be useful to the visitors.
