In 1963, from Padre Faura, Manila, the Thomas Jefferson Library moved in a 4-storey building at Ramon Magsaysay Blvd., Sta. Mesa, Manila. During this time, the goal of the Thomas Jefferson Library is not only to support research needs of the Filipino people but also to showcase American culture and society through cultural events, performances and film showing. TJL alloted 2 floors of the building to exhibit American music and multimedia room and TJL mini theater for cultural performances.
